Introduces additional preferences to support the Tax Time Preparation extension released in B043. These preferences provide better control over how changes to critical transactions can be made. This is important where you are sharing your database with your accountant and other colleagues.

A “Save to PDF …” option has been added to all print menus so all reports can save directly to file.

Build 043 provides a major update to features. It is a free update.

Introduces the new Tax Time Preparation extension which has been designed to help you minimize your time and accounting costs in submitting your tax returns. You can use it, not only for your annual tax return, but also in submitting more frequent GST and BAS returns.

Balance Sheet reporting has also been significantly extended. You can now include Account sub-headings in these reports. Reports also allow improved access to transaction search and journal entry (without leaving the Balance Sheet report)

Build 042 provides a major update to features. It is a free update.

Changes include: Addition of sample databases, extended system journals, some minor bug rectification. Significant changes and enhancements have been made to the Business GetReal Sales and Premier editions.

Build 041 rectifies minor bugs relating to Invoicing, importing of some statements, and the display of deeply nested Categories. There is no change to the database structure from Build 039.

Build 040 rectifies a number of minor bugs resulting from the update to Version 3.00. It also adds a significant extension to the way GST can be calculated using the Small Business extension.

Version 3.00 (Build 039) is available as a FREE update to existing Budgets GetReal and Business GetReal Small Business users.

You can only update version 2.02 (and earlier databases) by means of Version 2.02 (Build 038) – this version alone includes the appropriate Update Assistant.

Version 3.00 (Build 039) is the download version for new users. It is for NEW installations only. Do not attempt to update version 2.02 (and earlier databases) by downloading and manually installing this version.

Version 3.00 has been completely upgraded to support the following major enhancements and others soon to be released.

• Automatic backups to a secure online site plus allows team collaboration (all products).
• A new business solution to managing Sales, Purchases, Inventory and GST/BAS.

Build 039 introduces a different database structure to previous builds.

Version 2.02 (Build 038) is now available as a FREE update. All users should update to Version 2.02 (Build 038) immediately.

This update will be automatically applied for you when open Budgets GetReal Version 2.02 (Build 037).

This build has two main functions:

1. Allow you to upgrade to the Version 3.00 (Build 039).

Version 3.00 is a completely updated application with a new database structure. It marks the introduction of a new range of business applications and other power features. These are described in Release of Version 3.00

2. Minor features and bug-fix for Version 2.02

Note that Build 038 will be the last maintained release of Version 2.02.

Just a quick note to detail the features added with Builds 034 & 033. These updates will be automatically applied for you when next you open Budgets GetReal. Neither update changes the database structure from Build 032.

1. Updated Registration card to avoid problems with incorrectly copy & paste of password details from registration email.
2. Extended Wallet card to allow for longer lists to be displayed on-screen. Extended resize routines to better use available screen space.
3. Minor enhancement to Custom Date facility
4. Improved handling of OFX file import. Made more robust to financial institutions not properly implementing OFX standards.

Build 035 will be major release provided free to all existing users.
